Miniature Bucks

Australian Miniature Goat Bucks are 3 years and over, they are fully grown which allows the breeder to Height Verify the animal and have Graded according to parentage and height. Only after this are they AUSTRALIAN MINIATURE GOATS.
Before a Buck is 3 years old, they are still growing, and their final height is not yet known. We call these animals "Miniature Bred". They can be used by experienced breeders that are are qualified to choose a young animal and use him for breeding not knowing the animals final height. If they are sold, buyers are buying purely for their potential only.

We have been fortunate with having PP Echo as our top stud buck as he has thrown us some nice buck kids, many staying well under height at 3 and 4 years. Careful breeding and selection is a must to produce small bucks and it is fantastic to finally see the results of years of breeding coming through in our buck heights.




  
Being one of the Founding Breeders of the Australian Miniature Goat and having seen years of multiple breeding plans by other studs using the same lines, it has been proven to me time and time again, that the best PROVEN height reduction line in Australia is that from PATONA PARK BANDIT.


Bandits final height was 57.2cm at five years old.

Patona Park Bandit was the smallest Miniature Goat buck in Australia for age along with years of proving his height reducing qualities. He passed away many years ago now but he is responsible for many of the smallest animals to date in the breed especially his direct sons as well as does and was the original "tiny" buck that kicked started the breed. His son Patona Park Echo (below) was the first Miniature Goat to gain an Australian Championship title in Australia in early 2010 and could possibly be the smallest buck for age registered with the Miniature Goat Breeders Association of Australia and AMGR. He has exceeded our expectations and passed on these tiny genetics through out our line.
